Recipients of the “Frontiers in Headache Research Scholarship Award” from the American Headache Society Announced

Ten recipients of the American Headache Society (AHS) Frontiers in Headache Research Scholarship Award have received complimentary meeting registration for the 2023 Scottsdale Headache Symposium, a travel stipend of up to $1000, and a full year of AHS Trainee membership. The AHS awards this scholarship each year on the basis of the quality and potential of applicants’ submitted research projects or proposals to contribute to the advancement of the field of headache medicine.

Eligibility for the Frontiers in Headache Research Scholarship Award is open to headache medicine fellows, residents, and post-doctoral fellows in the United States and Canada. Applicants must have a basic or clinical research project on headache or cranial nociception that is in the preparatory, active, or completion phase, and must not have won the award within the past 2 years. Preference is given to current AHS Trainee members.

The 2023 awardees consist of both platform and poster presenters and are as follows:
